Author Guidelines

The Editorial Team will accept manuscripts whose topics are related to scientific research works, reviews, reflections or essays and case studies. The type of article must be indicated on the second line as it appears in the Manuscript Submission Template. Manuscripts should not be signed by more than four authors. The rest of the participants will appear in the Acknowledgments section.

The structure and content of the manuscripts sent to the Iberoamerican Environment & Sustainability Journal can be found in Instructions to the authors for sending articles.

Manuscripts must be sent on a mandatory basis in the template that can be found in Template for sending manuscripts. The Editorial Team reminds that, in case of not complying with each and every one of the norms stipulated in Instructions to the authors for sending articles, their manuscript may be rejected in the first instance.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • • The submission has not been previously published or has been submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the editor)
  • The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
  • The format complies with each and every one of the standards that are reflected in the supplied template.
  • Wherever possible, URLs are provided for bibliographic references.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Instructions to authors.
  • Attached, in a compressed file, a folder that includes all the figures in JPG or PNG format, easily identifiable (figure number in the file name) and with acceptable quality.
  • The maximum size of the manuscript, with all its components, must not exceed 10 Mb.
  • • Sending the originality letter that you can download from the Rules section.
  • The manuscript is written in Calibri font, size 12, single-spaced, with automatic spacing before and after, and justified alignment.

Responsibility of the authors

They are responsible for the ideas and data found in the manuscripts, the accuracy of the information, and correction of citations, the rights to publish any material that is included in the text and by the presentation of the manuscript in the format required by the Journal (word template). The manuscripts sent to the Iberoamerican Environment & Sustainability Journal must not have been previously published, nor should they have been submitted in the same way to another publication medium.
