Author Guidelines

The Editorial Team will accept manuscripts whose topics are related to scientific research works, reviews, reflections or essays and case studies. The type of article must be indicated on the second line as it appears in the Manuscript Submission Template. Manuscripts should not be signed by more than four authors. The rest of the participants will appear in the Acknowledgments section.

The structure and content of the manuscripts sent to the Iberoamerican Environment & Sustainability Journal can be found in Instructions to the authors for sending articles.

Manuscripts must be sent on a mandatory basis in the template that can be found in Template for sending manuscripts. The Editorial Team reminds that, in case of not complying with each and every one of the norms stipulated in Instructions to the authors for sending articles, their manuscript may be rejected in the first instance.

Commitment to Exclusivity

Authors must ensure that the manuscript submitted to RIAS is original and is not under review by any other journal. Throughout the editorial process, RIAS retains the exclusive right to evaluate the manuscript; therefore, it must not be submitted to any other publication until a final editorial decision has been issued.

Simultaneous submission constitutes a serious ethical breach and will result in the automatic rejection of the manuscript, as well as the possibility of restricting future submissions to RIAS for up to two years.
