Creative Commons License

Creative Commons licenses grant everyone, from individual creators to large institutions, a standardized way to grant the public permission to use their creative work under copyright law. The fewer restrictions a license implies, the greater the possibilities to use and distribute content.

Authors retain the copyright of their works published in the Ibero-American Journal of Environment & Sustainability. By accepting publication, they authorize its dissemination under the Creative Commons Attribution‑NonCommercial‑ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY‑NC‑SA 4.0), which allows sharing (copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format) and adapting (remixing, transforming, and building upon the material) exclusively for non‑commercial purposes, provided that the following conditions are met:

Attribution: proper credit must be given to the author.

NonCommercial: the material may not be used for commercial purposes.

ShareAlike: derivative works must be distributed under the same license.
